Agents Build Habitat Home

Family members joined the REALTORS at McCaffrey Realty Professionals to participate in the McCaffrey Habitat for Humanity Day June 8th in Brookfield at the corner of Route 133 and Tower Road. Habitat for Humanity provides affordable housing for deserving families who already reside in the community, and this house is one of several homes being built by the organization through contributions of local volunteers, churches, schools and companies. Joe Baker, REALTOR® and the McCaffrey organizer for the June 8th project, commented, “Habitat is one of the numerous organizations that REALTORS® nationwide support. At our National Convention in New Orleans last November each state committed to building a habitat home. REALTORS® have also committed to building 1,000 homes in the devastated areas affected by last year’s tsunami in Indonesia.” Linda McCaffrey owner/broker of McCaffrey Realty Professionals stated, “Giving back to our communities, as well as protecting and expanding home ownership, is part of the McCaffrey Mission Statement. Being able to make this kind of contribution is one of the reasons we opened our offices in 2003. Community involvement is an important attribute of each and every REALTORS, and all our employees.”
